For the third day, the cleanliness of Cairo removes the remains of slaughter from the streets

The General Authority for Cleaning and Beautification in Cairo launched a campaign to remove garbage and slaughter waste from the streets during Eid al-Adha, and the campaign included the neighborhoods of Sayeda Zeinab, Al-Sahel, Al-Mosky, Al-Wali, Nasr City and Heliopolis.

On the other hand, Major General Ihab El-Shershaby, head of the Cairo Cleanliness and Beautification Authority, confirmed that the lighting of the areas surrounding mosques and the minarets of mosques, especially in the archaeological and religious areas, were reviewed, all lighters were reviewed, and they were closed, and the cables of the lighting poles were reviewed, focusing on the areas surrounding the gatherings of citizens in the archaeological and historical areas, gardens, parks and the Nile Corniche. All main axes and public squares were maintained, lighting inside and outside public parks reviewed, and maintenance crews equipped with towers were formed, ready throughout the day to face any malfunctions throughout the days of Eid.

The head of the hygiene authority indicated that 4 emergency teams have been allocated to each of the four regions, water bottles with disinfectants, and carts loaded with sand to clean and disinfect streets and squares in case there is blood resulting from a violation of slaughter during the days of Eid.
